White Lion Yard
The yard shared its name with a number of others in the city centre. Here we see pictured the White Lion pub which traded at 135, Magdalen Street from 1760 - 1962. . The entrance to the yard (which took its name from the pub) is to the left of the photo. The yard has since been renamed Hartley's yard.
