Watts' Court

Watts Court, Tudor entrance , Norwich. George Plunkett’s photo reproduced by kind permission of J Plunkett

Located between 55 Bethel Street and 10 Chapel Field North, the court was named after local merchant John Langley Watts, who became mayor in 1974. John lived nearby at 61, Bethel Street.

Here we see the tudor entrance ( pictured in 1935) indicating it would probably have originally been the entrance to a grand house.
