Rackham Court
Located at 23, St Peter's Street the court (pictured in 1934) was at one time known as St Peter's Court. It could have taken its name from a number of local businesses that operated on on St Peter's Street in the latter part of the 19th century i.e WS Rackham & Sons (Manchester warehousemen), Rackham & Co (drysalters) or Rackham & Co (analytical chemists). The yard was one of many demolished to make way for the City Hall development in the early 1930s.
