Ling's (Court) Yard
Located at 49 - 51 Magdalen Street , the yard (pictured in 1937) was originally called Lily's Yard and at this time was probably called after a pub.
It is likely to have taken its later name from John Ling a draper and postmaster who lived at 23, Magdalen Street c1910.
The Yard was lost by 1964.
