Factory Yard
Located at 141 Cowgate, the yard (pictured here in 1937) took its name from the St James' Yarn Factory & the Yarn Factory Tavern.
The pub was damaged during an air raid in 1942 in 1950 it was closed at the same time the yard was lost.
