Crown and Angel Yard
Here we see the entrance to Crown & Angel Yard, pictured in 1936.
Located at 41 - 43 St Stephen's Street, it took its name from the Crown & Angel Pub which started trading at 41, St Stephen's Street in 1789.
Both the pub & yard were demolished in an air raid during 1942.
