Bee Hive Yard
65-67 St Benedict's was named after the Bee Hive Pub which opened on Magdalen Street (no. 67) in 1822. Following its closure in 1935 it became an electrical wholesaler (as depicted in George Plunkett's photo). Both the premises and the Yard were destroyed during air raids in 1942.
