Anchor Yard (Surrey Street)
There were at least four Anchor Yards in Norwich, these included 18 - 22 Surrey Street. Here the Yard originally took its name from the Anchor Pub located at 16, Surrey Street. The pub became the Golden Anchor in 1822 before being closed in 1913.
